Artist's Comments

--- Marc wrote the following about this image, I loved it so much because it actually changed the way I looked at my own photograph! I hope he doesn't mind me re-posting his comments here.

Much more than a mere photography but a dream of little big girl in despair ! She's been waiting , longing , dreaming ...hidden behind the gem green hope of her door . He's going to knock thought she, but the wood remained silent : nights ...and days ...and nights :no knocking on heaven's door ! So holding within her heart her salty tears , the young beauty took her dolly skirt , and collar- necked pearled her dim whity chest . And , hair done in a faked shyness , she sat outside boldly tinyjewelled, framed by the brick wall and her hidden sight , offered breast , shy closed feet .At last she dare say " Please do knock out : my beauty trapped me in the standing of my solitude , just the sun is gazing at me ! " And the passers-by remained blind whereas 412 South and 700 West whisper on my screen : here is the map , here is the way , here is the treasure ! No flight at once ,"Sitting beauty" !: may the magical white horse of my dreams fly me from France to the fairy land where you made me dream ! Blessed be Jake for having turned out an image into a foresight ! Congratulations to the photographer and the model for having shrinkled the atlantic ocean to the size of my first morning fantasy ! The address on the door is what really makes this image work.

La verdad es a veces mentira, lo bueno malo, la amargura simpatía. El amor es a veces mentira, la pasión hastío, la tristeza alegría........ :blackrose:

Well composed. The pose with the angles in the arms reflecting those in the legs works well here, as does her sideways glance. She looks almost artificial and fragile sitting there. Is she really as short as she appears here?
